30/90-DAY RETURN POLICY

If you are less than satisfied with any of our products within 30/90 days from the receipt of your items please call us toll-free at (888) 747-2011 to secure a Return Authorization (RA) number. All returns must have a Return Authorization (RA) number. After you are issued a Return Authorization (RA) number you will receive an email with the return instructions.
No restocking fee is charged for the items returned in re-sealable original manufacturer condition. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Apparel - boots, hats, helmets, shoes, vests cannot be returned if been worn or used. Must be still new, unused and in original manufacturer packaging.
We must charge 30% restocking fee for the following items:
- Metal Detectors
- Spy Cameras
- Spy Camera Detectors
- Bug Detectors
- GPS Tracking
PRODUCT WARRANTY
Many of our products have a limited warranty from 1-month to 3-years, but on many of our products have Lifetime coverage.
Some products have manufacturer's warranties that are much longer. Products with expiration dates, like pepper spray, have a warranty that is governed by the expiration date.
Unless otherwise specified on our product details page, Home Self Defense will repair its products with new or rebuilt parts, free of charge, in the U.S.A. from 1 to 3 years from the date of original purchase in the event of a defect in materials or workmanship. The product must be shipped back to Home Self Defense for repair in original packing. Shipping charges for all returns are at the expense of the customer. This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser. A purchase receipt or other proof of date of original purchase will be required before warranty performance is rendered. Home Self Defense emails all customers an invoice and which is sufficient documentation to submit for warranty coverage.
This warranty only covers failures due to defects in materials or workmanship, which occur during normal use. It does not cover damage which occurs in the shipment (covered separately) or failures which are caused by products not supplied by Home Self Defense or failures which result from accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, misapplication, alteration, modification, or commercial use of the product, or service by anyone other than Home Self Defense, or damage that is attributable to acts of God.

There are no other express warranties except as listed above.
